Stephen is a proven leader with a track record of success in: mobile application technology development, content acquisition and creation, and white label platform streaming technology.
With his technology background as a foundation, Stephen spearheaded the children’s content platform Toon Goggles from its 2011 launch as a beta website, to today’s global distribution across every major consumer electronic device. Stephen leads his team in the overall strategies for content licensing, business development, monetization, and ensuring Toon Goggles and OTTera stay ahead of their competition.
James is a results-driven, entrepreneurial engineer with 10 years of executive-level experience and 15 years of professional engineering. He consistently delivers successful bleeding-edge products to support business goals. As Co-CEO of OTTera, with a focus in technology, he is an architect of innovative tech initiatives that add to and accelerate business revenue streams.
James has guided the OTTera team to power 24+ OTT services with 50 million users worldwide and double revenue every year since inception. James graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2005 with Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Aerospace Engineering and worked for Lockheed Martin Skunkworks for 6 years prior to launching Digital Media Interactive, Toon Goggles, and OTTera.
Steve graduated from Northwestern University and accumulated a vast knowledge of Data and Application Architectures with 15 years of experience working as a technical consultant for large and small media companies focused on the monetization of content.
Steve wears multiple hats for OTTera working as an engineer on the development side of OTTera’s infrastructure and assisting in the overall business development and strategies for OTTera growth.
Craig has 20 years of experience in developing and integrating digital publishing, content management and digital asset management systems. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in Computer Science and spent the next 17 years doing development, software engineering and systems design, release management, and strategic consulting before collaborating to form OTTera.
Craig is accountable for OTTera’s strategic infrastructure, server-side integration and deployment architecture, API and syndication layers, and for identifying and facilitating key initiatives for driving revenue and improving system stability and throughput.
Brendan earned his degree in Film & Digital Media Production and History at UC Santa Cruz giving him insight into the global future of digital media.
Brendan has worked in Hollywood producing TV series, feature films, animated series, commercials, and news telecasts. He gained valuable knowledge and experience when he was the protégé for Peter Keefe, the creator of billion-dollar licensing properties such as
Brendan brings a substantial understanding of content licensing, COPPA and CARU advertising, film and animation production/distribution to the team.
Vanessa Delgado – President of Growth and Ad Sales, LATAM
Vanessa has a wealth of experience in customer management and business development in the advertising and marketing industry. She has held executive roles in top 4A companies, including Interbrand, Omnicom, and McCann, and headed development teams for DAS (Diversified Agency Services), a division of Omnicom Group in Latin America. Now on the streaming market, Vanessa became a reference in OTT and has been fiercely educating and promoting the industry in the Brazilian market for agencies, brands and partners.
At OTTera, Vanessa continues to expand the company’s presence in Brazil through connections with advertising partners and local content providers, who will be able to quickly expand to devices such as Samsung, LG, Philco, Roku, TCL and others. As President of Growth and Ad Sales OTTera LATAM, she leads a team dedicated to the region.
For more than 15 years, Adriana has been an international rep for Argentine, American, Indian & local companies, representing and marketing TV/OTT, print & digital media through Mexican territory, implementing PR, Sales, and Marketing strategies. She has extensive knowledge of content distribution, digital communication, web analysis & e-commerce, as well as concept development and implementation of creative projects and campaigns.
She has a Master in Journalism and Digital Education from IUP and also an completed an International Film, TV and New Media Distribution and Sales Course given by Media Consulting. She is a member of WICT Mexico and has been a mentor for WICTSE/LATAM International Mentoring 1st & 2nd programs through 2020-2021.
At OTTera, Adriana is in charge of the grand opening of the Mexican market, for companies and clients that will be integrated into this new OTT and FAST Channel platform, monetizing them with the AdNet+ service.
Andrew graduated from Ithaca College and with a Degree in Documentary Film and Production. Post-graduation Andrew quickly moved into technical operations running content distribution operations for traditional media distribution.
At OTTera Andrew is leading the charge bringing the AdNet+ Product to Market helping Monetize OTT and FaAST channels worldwide through strong technology integrations and advertising management through the OTTera suite of OTT Technologies, Applications, Linear Channels, and distribution partners.
Jordan Warkol – Senior Director of Business Development
With a background in the entertainment industry starting at the age of 5, Jordan has always been drawn to this space, both in front of and behind the scenes. Graduating from Cal State University Northridge, Jordan joined Toon Goggles in its early days, and has been able to increase its monetization through expanding its efforts in digital advertising, onboarding new partners from mid-sized companies to Fortune 500 companies, and helping to tailor experiences users love.
At OTTera, Jordan has expanded his role into a broader space beyond kids and is now focusing on large scale business development and advertising sales across their AdNet+ Network and general client base.
Daniel is Executive Vice President of OTTera, Inc. where he oversees direct Advertising Sales and works on Programming Acquisitions worldwide for the company’s OTT, vMVPD, and linear networks. With 30+ years of Advertising Sales and Programming experience, Dan has extensive C-level contacts in the CTV/OTT, Streaming Video, digital, Broadcast TV, social and mobile space while working with major national advertisers, agencies and content/IP owners.
Previously, Mr. Barnathan served as VP of Family and Children’s Programming and Sales at the Sinclair Broadcasting Group (2016-2019) and Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales at Saban Brands LLC (2012-2015). He was also the President of 4Kids Ad Sales Inc., a subsidiary of 4 Kids Entertainment Inc (2002-2011). At ABC/Disney-TV (1981-2000) he worked in various positions such as Senior Vice President of ABC-Television Group/Disney Kids Network, where he was key to launching the Disney Kids Network in 1997 that incorporated a multi-platform ad sales opportunity across Network, Syndication and Cable TV with the company’s children’s digital, radio, consumer products and magazine assets. Mr. Barnathan oversaw advertising sales of over $1.2 Billion annually while working at the Walt Disney Co.
Xiaosong, with the English name Adam, has a proven track record in sales and start-up businesses in the telecommunications and Connected TV industries across Chinese and LATAM markets.
Adam worked in the companies of top telecom equipment suppliers & connected TV platform suppliers for more than 15 years; founding and running a telecom software company that saves millions of dollars for the local operators to maintain the daily telecom network; Adam has a lot of experience on global cross-culture business development and resources integrations, with the capabilities of speaking fluent English and Portuguese on commercial communications. From 2019, by investing in OTTera, his vision is to be part of the new era of global OTT business.
Joe Chellman is a full-stack web developer, educator, and author. For 20 years prior to OTTera, Joe ran a small web development shop building high-quality, user-friendly websites for individuals, nonprofits, and businesses around the USA and elsewhere. A graduate of the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon, he is a passionate advocate for user-centered design in technology. Joe also loves to teach, having authored many popular video courses for LinkedIn Learning (previously Lynda.com), and co-authored a book on web design software for Pearson.
At OTTera, Joe combines his many interests in helping manage engineering resources, working on the web platform, and writing internal documentation.
Shujah is an entertainment executive with extensive international experience in OTT, film, music & games distribution as well as in VOD editorial and content acquisition.
He has been in the content industry for over 10 years; Shujah started and managed the content partnerships at Huawei for 5 years, launched EE TV in the UK, and built several VOD services in Europe. Prior to that, he worked for various tech companies servicing telcos all around the world.
Sumit Rastogi – Director Business Development, India
Sumit brings over 18 years of rich experience in media sales, content acquisition, content syndication, partnerships, and affiliate business.
Prior to OTTera, he handled more than 300 video content partners and publishers, acquiring a variety of video content including news, Bollywood, sports, sports leagues, lifestyle, entertainment, government, fitness, auto, tech, spiritual, TV networks, and more.
Sumit also made strategic alliances with some of the biggest sports leagues teams in India: Indian Premier League, Indian Super League, and Pro Kabaddi League. He has produced content for the ISSF World Cup, the India International Trade Fair, and the Jagran Film Festival.
He has an MBA from SIMS Pune with a major in marketing, and has worked with the adtech and media companies U2opia Mobile, Times of India, Locovida Digital Solutions (Times Internet Ltd), and Dainik Jagran.
Joel graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a degree in Business Administration and Philosophy. He has 10 years of software and web quality assurance experience, honing his eye for detail, critical thinking ability, communication skill, and automation expertise.
At OTTera, Joel defines and improves end-to-end business processes, writes automated tests, and applies his automation expertise to areas outside of Engineering to facilitate the company’s growth.
